I’m not terribly sure where this blog will wind up going. It’s something of an experiment.
There’s no particular theme at this point, except maybe “Lunch as an Art Form”. It’s certainly not restricted to that–I’ll throw in a lot of amusing “Found on the Net” items, and various other miscellanea.
Oh, and I live in Washington, DC, so most of the places I mention will be in the Washington metro area.
Greetings, dear art blogger. I managed, somehow, to come upon your blog when researching Eleanor Fortescue- Brickwell, a close family friend of the Bayley’s of Bedford, England. Beatrice and Cecily Peele were relatives of my mother and artists too.
I’ve always been a fan of Eleanor Fortescue-Brickwell, “The Last Pre-Raphaelite.”
I’ve used details from her paintings in the header of my blog several times.
Good luck with your research!
