A summer salad, which I based on a recipe from Bon Appétit.
I got some dewy-fresh bitter frisée and arugula at the Dupont Circle Farmers’ Market, cored a Gala apple and sliced it v thin, and made a vinaigrette with apple cider vinegar, olive oil, minced shallot, and honey. Then I added dried cherries to the vinaigrette.
It was good, but a little clumsy to eat. I probably should have torn the greens into smaller pieces.
