My flight was scheduled to leave in the late afternoon, which meant I had time for one last meal in Paris. I went back to Café Bruant, where I’d had those wonderful mussels a week earlier.
I started with this simple salad.
For the main, I chose skate, with potatoes and carrots. The two large pieces of fish were beautifully cooked.
That left time for one last swing by Les Petits Mitrons to buy some provisions—essential provisions— for the trip home.
And that was it.
