Plants and Birds and Rocks and Things

The National Museum of Natural History collects things.   With over 126 million items in its collections, which include everything from dinosaurs to moon rocks, the NMNH houses the world’s largest, most comprehensive natural history collection.

The museum has posted some remarkable photographs of a small portion of its Collections Program, along with the staff that maintains it.  There are a few samples below, and you can several more at the link.
