Sainsbury’s 2015 Christmas Advertisement

The annual roll-out of Christmas advertisements has begun in the UK.

“Mog” is a cat.  She was the main character in a much-loved 16-volume series of children’s books written by Judith Kerr between 1970 and 2002 . For its 2015 Christmas advertisement, the Sainsbury supermarket chain has brought her back to life.  (Spoiler:   She had died of old age in “Goodbye, Mog”, the final book of the series, after a life full of adventure with the Thomas family.)

Judith Kerr herself, now 92 years old, revived Mog for this year’s Sainsbury’s ad, called “Mog’s Christmas Calamity”.

I wonder how they trained the cat in that video to do all that stuff….
