‘Tis the Season: One More Day ’til Halloween

Special Event for Anyone in Washington, DC

The Exorcist is set in Washington, and over the years, many people have made the trek to 3607 M St NW in Georgetown, to view the “Exorcist Steps” which play such a key role near the end of the movie.  Here’s a YouTube video of one couple’s visit to the stairs:

Now the staircase is getting the tribute it deserves.  On Friday afternoon, 29 October 2015, Exorcist director William Friedkin and Exorcist  author William Peter Blatty will join DC Mayor Muriel Bowser for the unveiling of an official city plaque declaring them “The Exorcist Steps”.

Details and directions may be found on The Exorcist Steps Commemoration Facebook page.
