“Renoir Sucks at Painting” — The Movement Grows!

Hot on the heels of Monday’s spontaneous uprising outside Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, “Renoir Sucks at Painting” fever has spread to the Left Coast!   Friday at noon, a throng of six–possibly seven–people massed outside the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena to demand the removal of the works of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, the Thomas Kinkade of the Impressionist movement.

According to Max Geller’s definitive Renoir Sucks at Painting Instagram feed:

“BABYLONIAN STORMTROOPERS of the Pasadena, California police department shut down today’s #Renoirsucksatpainting protest.   But not before our searing message of truth was delivered to the people.   Proud day.”
