OYA is a big, beautiful, white-on-white Asian Fusion restaurant that I’ve been meaning to try for years. Finally got to it for lunch today.
This is one of the things that drew me to OYA: A local site named OYA’s Short Rib Tempura Roll as its “Dish of the Week”. The topping is made of white cheddar mashed potatoes, and each roll was two little bites of flavour.
The chicken was marinated in orange and basil, and supported by fingerling potatoes.
This had everything. Peaches and strawberries on shortbread, with bourbon syrup and fresh whipped cream.
